May was set out to be an exciting month as I set out for Singapore for their Sake Matsuri and to discover the sake scene!

April means many sake breweries are winding down and we also arrive in the busiest tourism season as cherry blossoms start to bloom..

The year is moving fast and we almost reached the end the sake brewing season, along with the start of the first cherry blossoms in Kyoto.

Back in Japan with a full schedule of events, February was dedicated to shochu and awamori, visiting Kagoshima and Okinawa!

Hello January and happy new year! An exciting month in Europe and Japan catching up with events, brewery visits and sake tour or two.

And just like that it is December! Full of Bonenkais Holiday farewells, this promised to be my first trip home to Europe in 3 years!

We are slowly approaching the end of the year and November is historically such a busy month...

August is historically a month full of local sake events, which I am super excited about especially being now based in Kansai...

As the brewing season is slowly slowing down, more and more events have started to pop up turning March into another busy sake month.

February is an exciting month because I generally spend a lot of time in one of my favorite places in Japan: Hokkaido!

November is continuing just as busy as the month has started, with a few unexpected sake surprises...

And just like that we arrived in 2023, with January having been as busy as December ended, lots of things happening in the world of sake...

And just like that, the year has come to an end, and what a year it has been!
